1st Grade

1st grade students will be introduced to the elements and principles of art. They will be able to explore and create images using various techniques and materials. During this school year students will explore techniques such as drawing, painting, collage and paper sculpture using pencils, crayons, markers, tempira paint and colored craft paper

Shapes, Forms and Colors

 

1st grade students were introduced to Shapes, Forms and Colors at the begining of the sculpture project. They explored working with clay dough to create their objects. After that, they used watercolor paint to add color to their objects.
