5th Grade
Fifth grade students are exposed to variety of styles used through the history of art. Class work focuses on the elements and principles of art, sculpture and design while students explore famous artists' works as samples.
Students will be exploring various media, techniques and process to express their feelings as well as develop creative skills. They will make connections among visual art, other disciplines and daily life experiences.

Understanding the use of materials and technique
Students participated in State contest titled "Celebrating Diversity in our Community" using drawing and painting with colored pencils.
