Kindergarten
Kindergarten students will be introduced to the elements and principles of art. They will be able to explore and create images using various techniques and materials. During this school year students will explore techniques such as drawing, painting, collage and paper sculpture using pencils, crayon, markers, tempira paint and colored craft paper.
Collage project
Kindergarten students explored the effect of the Sun on our planet, a paper collage project. They learned how to hold scissors correctly by cutting triangles. They also learned African folk song about the Sun.
All students were engaged, excited to do work and had fun doing it.
